While looking through my portfolio recently, I decided that it was in need of an update and a refresher. Very few shots have been added in the last year as most of my work in that time has been spent gaining wedding photography experience, assisting local friends with their wedding photography business.
So I picked up my cameras and headed off to the Hope valley on a beautifully sunny late August day to get some new landscape shots. The sun was out and strong so I pulled out my converted infrared camera to get some shots in and around Castleton and in the ruins of Peverill Castle perched high above the village.
Infrared photos are notoriously like Marmite – love ‘em or hate ‘em – but it’s definitely the former for me. Here are a couple of the shots I took in Castleton, and you can see more infrared shots in my Featured Infrared Gallery here
